Family | Poirier {South Haven, MI}
I met this sweet family of three in South Haven, MI, Sunday evening for their family session. Â Their little 4 month old chunker, Jaxton, was such a good boy. Â He would not stop staring at my camera, from the first shot to the last. Â It was his first visit to the beach and his first dip in Lake Michigan. Â Although, it was supposed to be just a toe dip, a sneaky bigger wave came up unexpectedly and crashed all the way up his legs before mom could pull him up. Â He didn’t seem to mind.
What a beautiful sunset to finish up an awesome session.

This beautiful family invited me to join them on Gull Lake for a family shoot.  Growing up in Allegan, I only ventured over to Gull Lake when I competed against Gull Lake athletes in Volleyball and Track.  I’d never actually visited the Lake, itself.  Wow!  Gull Lake is an amazingly minty green color.  It made for a wonderful backdrop for this great family’s session.  Could these kids be any cuter?  Seriously.

What a warm wonderful family, I met in South Haven, yesterday.  And they are 7, just like my family.  Beautiful, well behaved, and intellectual are more words I would use to describe them.  I love the different textures and designs of their dresses.  Simple, yet elegant beachwear made for a wonderful collage of images for them to remember this family trip of theirs.
