This beautiful family invited me to join them on Gull Lake for a family shoot. Growing up in Allegan, I only ventured over to Gull Lake when I competed against Gull Lake athletes in Volleyball and Track. I’d never actually visited the Lake, itself. Wow! Gull Lake is an amazingly minty green color. It made for a wonderful backdrop for this great family’s session. Could these kids be any cuter? Seriously.
Being back in Michigan has plenty of perks. One, being able to be around so much family. And Two, finally being able to take family photos of them. This is my sister, Sadie, and her cute little family in Caledonia.
What a warm wonderful family, I met in South Haven, yesterday. And they are 7, just like my family. Beautiful, well behaved, and intellectual are more words I would use to describe them. I love the different textures and designs of their dresses. Simple, yet elegant beachwear made for a wonderful collage of images for them to remember this family trip of theirs.

Recently I’ve met this very enthusiastic happy family of five. They are returning from across the states and making Cache Valley their home, again. We’re very excited to have them back, especially because they are buying our home! We are overwhelmed with excitement to be turning the keys over to these guys, come December.
When I directed them to meet me at the mouth of Green Canyon, I wasn’t sure if they knew how to get there. Come to find out their first date, years ago, was up Green Canyon. Not only that, but he also proposed to her here. So yeah, they knew how to get there.
I cannot get enough of this beautiful family! They seem to have the crazy train tackled after 2 short weeks of riding it. Kudos to them!
