Tracy and I met in third grade. Ironically, she is now a third grade teacher near Chicago. She has a beautiful family of five and still makes it back up this way to visit family and friends. I was lucky enough to get a call from her and help her squeeze in family pictures before summer’s end.
Family | Giger {Holland, MI}
Visiting Lake Michigan, for the first time, the Giger family followed the tornado producing storm up from Saint Louise, MO, last weekend. The weather cleared up just before they pulled in and they’ve been enjoying the lake shore ever since. They set up a family session with me, a month or so ago, to capture this time in their life at this beautiful location.
Thanks again Giger family for contacting me!
Family | Mellein {South Haven, MI}
What a delight it was to run into Debbie Mellein at the South Haven Art Fair, back in July. My husband and I graduated a year ahead of her daughter, in Allegan. I played volleyball with Jen and always loved being around her genuinely contagious happy vibes. 20 some years later and she’s even more beautiful. The Mellein’s now live in South Haven, while their kids are spread out around the states. I can imagine how excited mom and dad Mellein are to have all three of their kids and their families in the same place, at the same time. The Lake Michigan shoreline held up its part of the session by giving us an amazing backdrop, as always.
Thank you Debbie & John Mellein for hiring BDE Photography | Raecale Stull to capture your family in time, for you.
Family | Joseph {Gull Lake, MI}
This beautiful family invited me to join them on Gull Lake for a family shoot. Growing up in Allegan, I only ventured over to Gull Lake when I competed against Gull Lake athletes in Volleyball and Track. I’d never actually visited the Lake, itself. Wow! Gull Lake is an amazingly minty green color. It made for a wonderful backdrop for this great family’s session. Could these kids be any cuter? Seriously.
Family | Bell {Caledonia, MI}
Being back in Michigan has plenty of perks. One, being able to be around so much family. And Two, finally being able to take family photos of them. This is my sister, Sadie, and her cute little family in Caledonia.
