What a wonderful friend I made way back in 3rd grade! I was at a new school and Beth was my new best friend. We were inseparable. In fact, almost every memory I have from that time in my life is shared with Beth. I was the third child her parents didn’t know they wanted.
Even though Beth rarely spent time at my house, ironically this is exactly where I took her and her family for their photo session. My parents sold that house about 30 years ago, but the new owners turned it into a family run tree farm and are allowing me to photograph here. It’s a beautiful location for the cutest little family I know! Look at these adorable faces. Don’t you just want to squeeze them?

I met this sweet family of three in South Haven, MI, Sunday evening for their family session. Their little 4 month old chunker, Jaxton, was such a good boy. He would not stop staring at my camera, from the first shot to the last. It was his first visit to the beach and his first dip in Lake Michigan. Although, it was supposed to be just a toe dip, a sneaky bigger wave came up unexpectedly and crashed all the way up his legs before mom could pull him up. He didn’t seem to mind.
What a beautiful sunset to finish up an awesome session.
Thank you for contacting me, Poirier family, to capture this precious time in your life.
And thank you for viewing my work on my website. If you, too, would like a session of your own, please contact me:

Just the girls | KD Lake
After seeing my recent work, KD wanted to get her family photos updated. Last Friday, she realized this weekend would be the perfect time. Her oldest daughter was up from school to surprise her sister on her 16th birthday, and their oldest son would be heading home after his college football game, on Sunday. After learning I couldn’t shoot Sunday, due to a previously booked wedding, KD didn’t give up. We met up Saturday morning and made sure to capture “Just the girls” in the family, including KD’s mother. I’m glad KD was flexible and determined enough to get updated photos, that she went ahead with a session anyways! The images are so beautiful and reflect the warmth and love these women have for one another.
Thanks again KD!
Also, thank you for visiting my site to view my work. If you like what you see and would like a session for yourself, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
